Acute Neuro Care (ANC) is a course and workshop focused on clinical management of Acute Neuro-Emergencies during golden hour. It is governed and affiliated both by Neurocritical Care Society of India (NCSI) and Indian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care (ISNACC). Advanced knowledge is imparted based on clinical scenarios, priority based treatment algorithms and protocol and interactive hands on skill station.  This exclusive training course is organized with the aim to help physicians, surgeons and intensivists to act prudently in critical first hours of patient’s neurological emergencies. This will provide a rich flare of evidence based scientific material and protocolized algorithm based approach to care for acute neurologic conditions during the golden hour.

During the course, a standard protocol-based approach will be taught with hands-on training. The highlights of this training course include didactic lectures and audio-visual presentations followed by hands-on skill stations. At the end of the session, every one irrespective of their specialty and training should be able to manage the patients in a uniform way to achieve best neurologic outcome. The course content adheres to the established standard of practice.

ANC prepares the emergency physicians and intensivists to deal with the neurological emergencies. The aim of the program is to enable Intensivists, Critical Care Physicians, Anaesthesiologists, Neurosurgeons, Neuroanesthesiologist, Neurologists, and Emergency Physicians to deal with acute neurologically ill patients.
