NCSI TRAVEL GRANT

NCSI offers Travel/Visit Grants to eligible candidates for either visiting premier Neurosciences/Neurocritical Care Centres abroad or presenting scientific papers at relevant international forums. The deadline for application submission is July 31st annually. A set amount of Rs. 25,000/- will be granted to candidates who meet the following criteria:

1. Should be a life-member of NCSI for more than a year at the time of application.
2. He/she should not have availed the grant from NCSI in the previous 2 years.
3. Must submit the abstract of the scientific work at the time of application.
4. Must submit the attendance and participation/presentation certificate within 15 days of attending the conference.
5. If multiple applications are received, the grant recipient will be determined through the following criteria:
6. Selection of the best scientific paper for presentation, evaluated by a education committee/ Assessment of the candidate’s CV in case of visit to canters/ Selection through a draw of lots.

NCSI RESEARCH GRANT

The NCSI offers research grants to eligible candidates for conducting clinical research in the Neurocritical Care field in India. The deadline for application submission is December 31st. A set amount of Rs. 50,000/- will be granted to one candidate per year who meets the specified criteria outlined below:

1. Must be a life-member of NCSI for more than one year at the time of application.
2. Should not have received a grant from NCSI within the past two years.
3. Provide a copy of Ethics Committee approval and the research protocol.
4. Include estimated expenditure details along with the application.
5. Disclose any financial assistance received from other sources.
6. The proposal will be evaluated by the education committee of NCSI, and their decision will be final.
7. The study must be completed within two years of receiving the grant, with a statement of expenditure provided.
8. Present the research results at the Annual conference of NCSI in the same year as completion of the study or within one year of completing the study.
9. Acknowledge NCSI as the funding source in all presentations and publications.
